Mistake after mistake after mistake, serial incompetence and rude staff, I can no longer accept such service and am seeking an alternative.

Suggested improvements
Pay attention to detail, listen to what they are told.

We spent 50 minutes continually ringing the Surgery “on two different phones” from 08.00 am, permanently engaged and No Queing System !!! Receptionist was completely dismissive when my partner politely mentioned how long we had been trying to get through...” Well you’re through now “ then followed a full grilling on why we needed a Doctors phone call ( you cannot get an appointment now with their new triage system )...so to sum up , we agree with the other comments.Tilehurst Village Surgery is a great place to be a GP but definitely not a patient !!!!

If you are thinking of joining this practice because you might at some point wish to see a doctor then this is probably not the surgery for you. Spent 50 minutes on the phone this morning dialling several hundred times to be told that they now operate a "triage" scheme to test your worthiness for getting an appointment. Seven hours later still waiting for the triage call.......... If you manage to miss the call because of a thousand legitimate reasons that's your lot. You only get one call and then you have to phone again. I would imagine that the system works very well for doctors. I am so pleased that they are no longer bothered by sick people.

Was expecting a callback from the doctor but didn’t receive anything which resulted in me having to go to WestCall. I would definitely not recommend this surgery, in the 6 months I’ve been with them I’ve never been able to get an appointment it’s always call backs available. When the Dr does eventually call back you don’t have a clue what they are talking about!!!!!

My son (4 weeks old) couldn't get the treatment he needs, we were referred to the hospital and told by them our GP needs to prescribe the medication. They then told us they are not able to do this, I've since learned that this is most likely to be due to the cost of the medication, our son is poorly and all they care about is their pockets!
